Brian Bradley – Alabama Forestry Hall of Fame
Brian Bradley, long-time Land Trust volunteer and advisor, was recently honored with induction into the Alabama Foresters Hall of Fame. This is a high honor recognizing his contributions to the profession of forestry in the state of Alabama.
Brian has volunteered with the Land Trust for over ten years. His primary role is as a forestry consultant on the Resource Advisory Committee. However, Brian does so much more. He provides help and guidance with property monitoring, boundary marking, property restoration, prescribed burns, and as a mentor for scouts seeking the forestry merit badge. Brian constantly provides much needed advice and information using his vast experience to help the Land Trust responsibly manage our forest resources.
Brian is an excellent ambassador for the forestry community, always promoting best management practices and demonstrating daily his passion and enthusiasm for the outdoor community. Throughout his career, he has served as a champion for Alabama forests by mentoring future foresters, sharing conservation practices with land owners, representing the forestry industry at community events, presenting to civic groups about sound forest management, or assisting school groups and other organizations with tree plantings or forest tours.
Brian was honored at the Southeastern Society of American Foresters Alabama Division Annual Meeting on September 5th in Auburn. We congratulate Brian on this prestigious award and express our sincere gratitude for his continued support and guidance.
