Guided Hike: Useful Plants and Mushrooms of Spring

(1.5 hours / Moderate to Difficult / 1.5 mile) Wild plants and fungi have long been sought out for their medicinal and culinary benefits. Join local forager, Jesse Akozbek, to learn more about useful plants and mushrooms that can be found in the wild during spring. All skill levels are welcome! Kids are free to join, but the content of the hike is geared towards adults. Please feel free to bring a camera, notepad and pencil, or any other tools you need to remember the information presented.

Location: Bethel Spring Nature Preserve – 2641 Cherry Tree Rd, New Hope, AL 35760
