Hike the Land Trust Challenge: Chapman Mountain

(Moderate / 3 hours / 4.5 miles) Follow our series of guided hikes throughout the entire year as we cover all of the Land Trust’s public trails! We’ll start with the easiest routes and increase our difficulty and distance along the way. This hike hits all 7 trails that are part of the current Chapman Mountain trail system. We’ll begin on Driskel at the disc golf course. Take a quick loop around Chasco Trail, before completing the rest of Driskel. From there a short piece of Moonshine Trail connects to Terry Trail. You’ll pass Mossy Falls before reaching the start of recently completed Bulldog Trail. This 1.5 mile loop ends a little further uphill from where you began along Terry Trail. From there, a stroll through the trees brings you to Whole Planet Trail, take a short out and back detour on Amphitheater Trail, then return to the trailhead via Whole Planet and Moonshine alongside a little wet-weather creek.
