Hike: Blevins Gap North

(Moderate / Around an hour / .75 miles) Is there a better way to start a Monday than with a short hike through the woods? We’re not sure there is! Join hike leader Julie Barnett for a short walk on Jones Valley Loop Trail. This walk is less than a mile, and will probably take well under an hour to complete. There is some climbing though, so it’s not too easy. This is a great opportunity to get out and see what the forest has to show us in the middle of April. Spring is definitely upon us!

Location: Blevins Gap Nature Preserve – North (Fanning Trailhead) – 2275 Cecil Ashburn Dr SE, Huntsville, AL 35802
Note: Located behind SE Church of the Nazarene. This preserve has multiple trailheads. Be sure to come to the right one!
