The History of Bloucher Ford with Ben Hoksbergen

November 5, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Bloucher Ford Nature Preserve is one of the Land Trust’s closed properties and is bordered by the Flint River in New Market, AL. Long known as a once bustling hub of the city generations ago, the Land Trust asked archeologist Ben Hoksbergen to conduct an archaeological survey and analysis of the property. Here he found three archaeological sites and the remnants of eight historic structures. Join us for a live presentation from Bloucher Ford where Ben will share with us his findings and their cultural and historical significance.

Cost: FREE
