Spring Guided Hike: Rainbow Mountain with Adele Hoffman

Head out with former Land Trust Board Member and wildlife enthusiast Adele Hoffman for a trip around Rainbow Mountain Loop.  Take a stop by the famous balance rock and find out what makes Rainbow Mountain one of our most popular preserves!

Address: 230 Stoneway Trail, Madison, Al 35758
Directions: West on Hwy. 72 (University Drive); turn left onto Hughes Road (in Madison). Drive one-half mile then turn left onto Lynbrook Drive, Right onto Concord Drive, then left onto Stoneway Trail, At T-intersection at top of the mountain, turn right and follow Stoneway Trail to the parking lot and kiosk.

 

2018 Spring Guided Hike Series: 

These FREE hikes offer natural beauty and exercise for the entire family but donations to help preserve green space are accepted! You don’t need fancy equipment! However, we do recommend:

​long pants and comfortable shoes with good tread

  • bottled water
  • hiking sticks
  • trail snacks
  • and a camera to capture the experience

​Dogs welcome, but must be on leads. In case of rain, hikes may be cancelled.  Please verify cancellation here or on our Facebook Page.
