Trail Care: New Trail on Green Mountain

Help build a new trail! When complete, Gibson Trail will add a little over a half mile, connecting Ranger and Talus Trails. This trail was named for volunteer Phill Gibson, who has dedicated countless hours to trail development and maintenance projects on Green Mountain. No experience required – we will provide all the tools and water. Please wear long pants and close-toed shoes. Bug spray and sunscreen recommended. Please sign up to let us know you’re coming.
Our priority remains the health and safety of our community. Safety measures will be implemented in accordance with guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Alabama Department of Public Health. Depending on current recommendations at the time of the event, this may include limited event capacity, social distancing, and sanitization.
