Volunteer: Pollinator Garden Planting Day

Join us for the inaugural planting day as we create a Pollinator Garden at Blevins Gap Trailhead! This project kicks off an initiative to place pollinator gardens at locations throughout our properties. We are looking for volunteers to help with planting, watering, fertilizing, and clean up in the newly constructed 1/3-acre garden which includes crushed gravel pathways and freshly soiled plant beds. Please bring gardening tools, including shovels, trowels, knee pads, and gloves along with plenty of water! And don’t forget closed toe shoes, sunscreen, and bug spray!
