Members-only Guided Hike: Oak Park History Hike

Oak Park History Hike (2.5 hours / Difficult – due to slippery, rocky surfaces / 3 miles)

Join Historian David Young on an exploration of the Oak Park Trail system – a joint effort between Oak Park neighborhood volunteers and the Land Trust. The route will follow the Dallas Branch drainage basin, which includes a walk past flood control features and leads up to the waterfall at Raven Point. The end of the hike will follow Bankhead Trail, a trail rich with shallow sea fossils.

Event Details: RESERVATION IS REQUIRED. Our fall hike series is exclusive to Land Trust members only. Sign up at the link provided. Space is limited to ensure quality and safety. There is no waitlist. We intentionally overbook to account for cancellations but if spots become available we’ll reopen the registration link on this page. We have reduced capacity for all hikes to ensure a safe environment for all participants and face coverings are required when 6ft distancing is not possible.
